Berlin Talent Summit 2017

This year we took part in the Berlin Talent Summit, Europe’s biggest recruiting event that brings together 300 of the most talented students and graduates from all over Europe, to get in touch with the leading tech companies in Berlin.

Yesterday, we welcomed 16 talents here in our Berlin office to introduce them to our industry and corporate culture. After an inspirational keynote from our
Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer Matthias Riedl, the students formed small groups and worked on a case study, based on a project for one of our current clients.

While the students were busy coming up with a winning strategy and channel selection, our Head of Online Marketing Anne and International Business Development Director Andreas walked around, giving feedback and tips to each group. After one hour it was time to present and discuss the final ideas.

“I was very impressed with what the students came up with. From direct marketing to influencer marketing, each solution was different yet effective.” – Andreas Peltret, International Business Development Director.

It was great to see how motivated everyone was. One group calculated the Cost per order down to the cent; others explored new and innovating marketing solutions. Overall, all groups did a great job and came up with effective marketing campaigns. A win-win situation for both, as one of the students commented:

“the DCMN coaches were great, they provided us with an interesting briefing and gave us some interesting tips.”

Today, we attended the Career Fair in the beautiful Stadtbad Oderberger to meet some more talents and answer their questions regarding traineeships, jobs and corporate culture at DCMN. We met so many interesting people and can’t wait to participate again next year!
