The program for the fourth edition of SCALE18, the annual conference for growth marketing innovators, is officially live. We’ve now added speakers from Deezer, BuzzFeed, RTL AdConnect and more to the lineup.
Coming up on October 25 at Radialsystem V in Berlin, SCALE18 will see speakers from OMR Podstars, Paytm Mall, Stryking, idealo, IDAGIO, UPDAY, CLANEO and zebra-audio.net – along with many others already announced – share insights and learnings on two stages.
The day-long conference in the hall will begin from 9.30am with an opening keynote address from Ali Hanan, CEO and founder of Creative Equals, who will share her insights in a talk titled: Your bias is bad for business: Diversity as a driver of innovation, productivity and profit.
Next, there will be a marketing session from Ralph Pighin, Vice President CEE at Deezer, who will explain how the company builds global reach through a local hero approach.
The first panel of the day will include representatives from NBCUniversal and RTL AdConnect. The panel will discuss programmatic TV, looking at challenges and learnings from across the Atlantic.
Following the morning tea break, a panel of speakers including Amit Sinha from Paytm Mall in India, Manuel Koser from Silvertree Internet Holdings in South Africa and Berlin-based investment strategist Ramona Liberoff will discuss scaling businesses in emerging markets.
Next up will be a talk on the future of creativity from BuzzFeed UK’s Associate Creative Director, Antonia Bonello. Antonia will talk about how the online publisher remains agile and nimble in the platform space, focusing on BuzzFeed brands Tasty and Bring Me!.
The next session is about how the role of the marketeer will look in the future. Markus Düttmann, DCMN’s Director of Product, will talk about how automation, artificial intelligence and in-housing will change the face of marketing.
The post lunch sessions will begin with a panel on Building the Token Economy: What you need to know about ICOs, featuring representatives from Atlantics Labs and Stryking.
This tech talk will be followed by Melanie Schlegel, head of paid search at German ecommerce giant OTTO, sharing insights from the company’s transition for a digital future. Next, Rachel Ginsberg, creative strategist and experience designer, will lead a session on the art of emergent storytelling.
Finally, the last segment of the day will focus on the future of work, with coworking firm WeWork talking about workplace culture, followed by an exciting closing keynote which will be announced very soon!
Meanwhile, the program on our second stage – which this year takes place on a boat adjacent to the main conference halls – is also full of great speakers from fast-growing brands and tech players including Wibbitz, Bertelsmann, IAB France, Stryking, Weltsparen, IDAGIO, UPDAY by Samsung, OMR Podstars, happy brush, Zebra-Audio.net, Outbrain, Babbel, Idealo and CLANEO.
