A Colourful Trip to a Joyful Vacation: GetYourGuide & DCMN Launch Performance TV Ads

The creative marketing experts from DCMN present their latest TV ad entirely created and produced in-house. This time for GetYourGuide, the largest digital marketplace for tickets, tours and activities. And it’s a beauty! As of August 8 the two Berlin-based companies have been running a test run on the Dutch market with a performance TV campaign consisting of a 10- and a 20-second spot.

 

Besides increasing brand recognition, this direct response campaign with a clear call to action is meant to raise awareness of GetYourGuide’s services and also to drive new customers to the website.

This performance campaign for the Dutch market is an important test for us to understand how TV can directly impact our KPIs. The joyful and bright spots illustrate our brand DNA and playfully educate the viewers about how GetYourGuide makes holidays even better. The learnings from this campaign will be important stepping stones on our journey to become the world’s leading brand for incredible experiences.

This creation is targeted at people looking for the best versions of their holidays. The colorful and loud concept is meant to establish GetYourGuide as top-of-mind platform for travelers looking for tours and activities. To this end – together with our long-time partner Wolffpack Vision – we went for a studio shoot and a set design kept entirely in brand colors. Through a series of surreal, theatrical situations we effectively illustrate GetYourGuide’s services. The clear CTA makes the performance of this campaign measurable and optimisable.
