How DCMN became one of Europe’s fastest growing companies

The Financial Times’s annual list of Europe’s fastest growing companies is out – and DCMN made the top 50. Boom!

For the second year in a row, we made the cut for the FT1000, an annual index from UK newspaper the Financial Times that ranks the fastest growing and most innovative companies across Europe.

This year’s FT1000 ranks the companies that achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2013 and 2016.

DCMN came in at number 45 on the list, with 2265% revenue growth for the four-year period. We are the fifth fastest-growing advertising company Europe-wide and the 10th fastest growing overall within Germany.

Of course, revenue isn’t the only measure of a company’s growth. In the past few years, DCMN has seen phenomenal growth also in terms of staff.

We were 80 employees in 2016; today, we are more than 180, spread in offices stretching from our hometown of Berlin to our newest hub in Cape Town, South Africa.

Our diverse, international team is made up of people from nearly 40 different countries. Our company culture is hardworking but fun, innovative but a little offbeat. These people and this uniquely DCMN culture are the driving force behind our growth.

To hear more about the DCMN growth story, and how we got to where we are today, check out the video below of co-founder Matthias Riedl speaking at the recent Online Marketing Rockstars conference in Hamburg.
