It’s back and bigger than ever. SCALE17 – the conference for growth marketing innovators – returns to Berlin this October. Today, we’re excited to give you a first look at our program and announce our first batch of speakers.
For the past three years, DCMN has run SCALE, our annual conference for growth marketers. Our mission is to offer a marketing conference for digital brands, by digital brands. That means that the vast majority of our audience is marketing decision-makers from digital businesses – and the bulk of our speakers are from that side of the industry, too.
Our theme this year is marketing innovation. So what’s on the agenda? You’ll hear bold new approaches to marketing, media and more. We’re planning a range of exciting panel discussions focusing on hot topics like virtual reality and programmatic, while our solo speakers will give concrete insights into how they’ve used innovative new tactics in their daily work.
This year, we’re moving to a bigger venue (Radialsystem V near Berlin Ostbahnhof), which means we can now offer a second stage. We’ve added a tech lounge, a more intimate space where we’ll showcase emerging companies and startups working in advertising and marketing technology.
On the main stage, we’ve locked in speakers from fast-growing digital brands in Germany and beyond. For example, we’ve got Claude Ritter, co-founder of BOOK A TIGER and Delivery Hero, coming along to tell us why growth hacking needs to be embedded in a company’s DNA in order for it to be truly innovative.
We’ve got a bunch of international speakers lined up as well, including Corey Ford, Managing Director of US-based venture capital firm Matter , a startup accelerator with a focus on entrepreneurs who are breaking new ground in the media space. Corey is one of our keynote speakers: he’ll talk about unlocking innovation with design thinking and explain why failing is an important part of the process.
Also on the program: French crowdfunding platform Leetchi will send their General Manager Benjamin Bianchet; Adeline Lee, Director of Product at female health app Clue, will reveal how the company has used the app store as a branding tool; and Sarah Moriarty, Head of Brand Marketing at online reading platform Blinkist, will explore creatives that convert: how to shape brand messaging and storytelling on a channel-by-channel basis.
This is just the beginning – more speakers will be announced in the lead up to the event on October 26! Early bird tickets are now on sale so grab yours before it flies away.
